Dr. Sruthikanna Mandavilli started working with us since 2016. She worked at the Gateway health Wodonga for 2 years. She always provides patients with the highest level of personalized and comfortable dental care available. It is her goal to tailor every treatment plan to fit each patient’s individual needs. Sruthi has taken numerous continuing education courses to improve patient care in several facets of dentistry. Outside of work, She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
With over 14 years of clinical experience, Abdo is a dedicated OHT with a genuine passion for preventive care, patient-centred care and patient education. Holding an Adult Scope qualification, he is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate dental care to patients of all ages. Abdo completed a Bachelor of Oral Health Science at La Trobe University in 2010, followed by a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Medical) in 2022. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Melbourne, further enriching his holistic approach to healthcare. Over the course of his career, Abdo has worked across a wide range of settings including private practice, public health, education, and outreach. His roles have included Senior OHT at both Sunraysia Community Health Services and Lime Dental in Mildura, as well as clinical work with the Royal Flying Doctor Service and Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne. He also
served as a Clinical Educator for La Trobe University Dental School, based at Bendigo Health and Maryborough District Hospital, where he helped train the next generation of oral health professionals. Currently, Abdo is part of the team at Vinnova Dental, proudly serving the Northeast Victoria community. Abdo is particularly skilled in working with anxious patients and has a keen interest in paediatric and preventive dentistry. His patient-centred approach is grounded in empathy, trust-building, and a commitment to oral health education, ensuring every patient feels supported and confident in their care.
Outside the clinic, Abdo remains actively involved in professional development and community volunteering. Having grown up with limited access to dental care and oral health education himself, he understands firsthand the impact this can have on long-term health. This experience underpins his passion for health equity and drives his deep commitment to empowering individuals, particularly those in our underserved regional communities, to take charge of their health through accessibility, knowledge, prevention, and support.
